Guilloche enamel compact. An unusual combination of green and black enamel surrounding pink guilloche. The beveled mirror is in excellent condition. The sifter works well.

There is no marking on the compact and it does not have a puff. The compact is 2 1/8 inches in diameter. The engine turned gold over white metal shows wear to the gold. There is minor wear to the enamel.

Butterfly vanity case. The case is engine turned white metal with a butterfly top under plastic made from a real butterfly. The butterfly center is surrounded by champleve. Some of the enamel is missing.

There is a framed mirror with pressed rouge and a puff under it. There is no powder or powder puff. There is a broad bar ring chain. There is one tiny dent on the top surround of the butterfly.

Evans green guilloche and enamel compact. There is a hinged double mirror, powder and rouge compartments and puffs. The case is signed on the powder lid. There is minor scuffing on the back.

Wells Sterling mini compact with its original draw string pouch. The compact measures 1-3/8 inch in diameter.

The compact and pouch are both in very good condition. The compact has the initials V L on the lid.

Stratton black enamel and marcasite compact. The case is a gold color metal. The beveled mirror is set in the lid. It is signed on the powder compartment lid.

The compact measures 2-3/4 inches square. The enamel is in good condition, no chips or cracks. It does have surface scratches. All the marcasites are intact. The mechanism that opens the powder compartment works well as does the closure.

Henriette plastic loose powder compact. U.S. Army hat in khaki and brown with a gold foil brim crest. There is a glued in mirror that has some discoloration. The original powder screen and powder puff are included along with the inspection tag.

The compact is in very good condition. The compact is 2 7/8 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inch deep. c 1940's. Reference: Collectors Encyclopedia of Compacts by Mueller page 167.

Saks Fifth Avenue black alligator clutch purse. This is a very soft, refined alligator bag. It measures 9 inches across, 6 inches high and 1-1/2 inches front to back at the bottom. It is in excellent condition with a very clean interior.

Koret brown calfskin box shaped purse from the 1940's/50's. It measures 7 inches across, 4-1/2 inches high and 4 inches front to back at the bottom. This great purse is in excellent condition. The interior is very clean and has an attached change purse. It has the pouch for the mirror but the mirror is not there.

Angela Frascone colorful vinyl bag with black Lucite handles. The purse is in excellent condition. It measures 9-1/2 inches across and 5-1/2 inches high not including the handles.

Enid Collins les fleurs jeweled & painted wooden purse. This wooden box purse combines painted outlined flowers with plastic jewels. All the jewels are intact. The paint is in excellent condition. The wood has its natural finish. The mirror is intact and the purse is signed.

The purse is 4-1/4 inches high, 8-1/2 inches across and 1-7/8 inches deep. This is a nice size purse. The handle is black vinyl.

Rialto Lucite and metal beaded purse. This oval purse is made from pearlized beige Lucite. The lid is decorated with an oval of metal bead flowers. The clasp is decorated with a Lucite button. The purse measures 8-1/2 inches across, 5 inches front to back and 4 inches high without the handle.

The mirror is in place but does have a chip out. All the beads are intact. The Lucite is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. All the Lucite feet are in place.

Silver confetti and black Lucite purse. The purse is 7-3/4 inches across, 4-1/2 inches front to back and 3-1/4 inches high without the handle. The Lucite is in excellent condition, with only minor surface scratches but no chips or cracks. All the feet are in place. The clasp works well.

Whiting & Davis cream color mesh bag. This bag is in excellent condition. The enamel doesn't have any chips or loss. The gold metal frame is stamped with the Whiting and Davis bow tie mark and the number 6982. The interior is purple satin. It has a small mirror.

Fabulous art deco pattern wood bead mesh purse with an ivory grained celluloid frame. The purse measures 12-1/2 inches high and 6-1/2 inches across. The wood beads are black, brown, tan and orange. There is one strand of the fringe at the bottom missing. The cord handle looks like it is a replacement. The interior of the bag shows some wear. Overall very good condition.

Tomato red glass bead bag with a silver color metal frame. The purse measures 11 inches high and 6 inches across. The brocade fabric interior is in good condition. There are 2 broken strands of the glass beads, one on each side near the hinge. The frame is in very good condition with the original chain handle.

Whiting and Davis Dresden mesh bag. The gold color frame is in excellent condition. It has a ball and socket closure. The Dresden mesh is in very good condition. The colors have muted somewhat over time. The purse measures 9 inches high and 5-1/2 inches across.

Micro metallic beaded purse in silver and bronze with cobalt blue rhinestone accents. Another great Art Deco purse with geometric designs.

The purse measures 6 inches across and 5 inches high (without fringe). There is a rigid piece across the top of the purse the keep it in shape.

All the bead fringe and the beaded handle are intact. The beads are secure with no loss. One of the blue rhinestones is missing under the front flap.

White seed bead purse with a butterscotch Bakelite frame.

Some bead loss near the frame. Otherwise in very good condition. The zipper works well. There is a mirror in a fabric pouch on the inside. The purse measures 8-1/2 inches across and 5-1/2 inches high.

1940s crocheted purse with a reddish brown plastic frame and green fabric lining. The shell stitch crochet is done in tan, green and dark blue.

The purse measures 7-1/2 inches across and 9 inches high. The crochet, lining and frame are all in very good condition.

Black velvet reticule with sewn on flowers in pink, green and violet. Both sides of the bag are identical in decoration. There is a strand of beads with hanging larger beads as fringe at the bottom

The reticule measures 13 inches long and 8 inches across. There is some wear to the velvet at the bottom corners otherwise the beading and velvet are in very good condition. There is no lining in the bag.

1940s crocheted purse with a golden brown plastic frame. The frame is decorated with peacocks. The shell stitch crochet is a light brown. It is lined with brown satin.

The purse measures 8-1/2 inches high and 8-1/2 inches across. It is in very good condition.

Beaded purse with a carved celluloid frame. A black and dark blue background is decorated with pink flowers. Both sides of the bag have the same decoration. If there was fringe on this bag, all traces are now gone.

The frame is carved on one side only with a leaf and vine pattern. The lining is a faded black gross grain material. The purse is in good condition.

1940s dark brown crocheted purse with a bakelite zipper and pull. The crochet is done in the shell stitch. The lining is a dark brown material.

The bakelite zipper is marked Talon. All the teeth are intact and the zipper works well. The zipper pull is a red bakelite tassel shape.

Black shell stitch crocheted purse with clear plastic frame and round link chain handle. Clear plastic frame has a molded flower and leaf pattern. Interior and exterior in excellent condition.

Two tone gold metal mesh purse with tassel. Inside frame marked with LS. The mesh is in excellent shape and attached firmly to purse frame. Purse strap is woven metal. The purse without the tassel and strap measures 6-1/2 inches in length.

Blue aurora glass beads make this beaded bag shine as if it was metallic. Silk lining and draw strings are original. The overall length is just under 9 inches. Good condition with some fading to the lining. A few beads have come off but someone has left them inside the bag.

Fine cut steel beading of gold and bronze in a geometric pattern, beaded fringe in a pointed pattern, an embossed leaf and scroll design decorate the brass frame with push-button clasp, a link chain handle and original pink silk lining. The length (with fringe) is8-1/2 inches; length (without fringe) is 5-1/2 inches, the width is 4 inches.
